KirinRiotCrash
Kirin (Dennis E Ramos) (also KirinRiotCrash) is a freelance skinner and writer. He is Pinoy and born in Millington, TN. He does odd jobs and co-manages a website with his long-time friend, Kiwa, called Saphiria, which houses some of Kirin and Kiwa's works. After graduating from East Carolina University with a BA in English and a Minor in Art, he aspires to get into the gaming industry as both a graphic artist and story writer. Right now, he just skins and draws to build up his portfolio. Kirin's contributions to Polycount include writing skin reviews and moderating their forums. Kirin currently resides in Jacksonville, NC, and enjoys drawing and karaoke.
Nickname Origin
In the beginning, it was just "Kirin," which is a creature of Chinese mythology that resembles some kind of unicorn. This unicorn is said to spread good luck was the one that gave Confucius a jade tablet which said that he would one day be an "uncrowned king."
The optional "RiotCrash" part came around when Kirin made synonymous skins for id Software's Crash model for Quake 3 and BurntKona's Riot Girl model for UnrealTournament approximately three years ago. Since then, the RiotCrash part got stuck.
