From the readme file:
This isn't really a model, but a set of pre-fabricated primitive objects to ease the modeling process for those modelers without access to more capable software. It contains a box with 12 polygons, a cylinder with 24 polygons, a sphere with 32 polygons, another rounder sphere with 72 polygons, and a big rocket with 45 polygons. Certain miscellaneous files, such as weapon.md2, are included only to illustrate the bare minimum set of files needed for a Quake 2 player model. Other files in the subdirectory "Files" are for reference. For modeling purposes, only Tris.md2, or Files\PreFabs.AQM, is needed.
Other Info : If you use any of these prefabs for your models, please give credit where credit is due, so that others may also learn of, as well as take advantage of, these prefabs. If you can think of other useful prefab shapes, send a e-mail to BigRocket@juno.com , but please bear in mind that prefabs are supposed to be simple, universal geometries -- with the exception of my signature big rocket, that is.
That pretty much says it all. Very useful for those using bare bones programs like Quake 2 Modeler that doesn't offer primitive shape creation automatically.
