poopinmymouth (Ben Mathis) is a freelance artist and has been a member of the Polycount community since 2002. Ben has worked full time for several different companies since he started the game industry in 2002, including Warthog Entertainment (now Gizmondo Texas), Terminal Reality Incorporated, Mythic Entertainment, and Neversoft Entertainment. He has also worked off site for several game development houses. Poop spends a great deal of time creating tutorials for the community which are available at his website http://www.poopinmymouth.com.
Nickname Origin
poopinmymouth comes from an inside joke in high school. The exact origins remain unclear, but it was a way to embarrass someone by proclaiming loudly, "What!? You want me to poop in your mouth? That's DISGUSTING!!". When it came time to pick an online nickname and website, he thought the memorability would serve him well, despite it's immaturity. Despite repeated advice to change the URL from relatives and friends alike, poopinmymouth remains his nickname and URL and will most likely continue far into the future.
