snemmy(Travis Keene) is just snemmy. He has been around polycount since the old Q2pmp days. He has a BA in studio art and in Fall06 will be starting on his Masters of Art in studio art working on his figure drawing and game art. He recieved his BA in 2004 and has since done freelance graphic design and survived working at the *-Mart. He hopes to have a career in games at the end of his MA tutelage and be able to visit all the friends he has made at polycount.
Nick Origin snemmy is a shortened version of SocialNemesis, which in itself is a mis-reading of the title to the first song on Orgy's Candyass cd, Social Enemies. The tracks titles are written without spaces and snemmy didn't pay too much attention. He was going by Reaper in some Quake2 games but figured there were millions of Reapers out there so he looked to his new cds that were giving him some great inspiration. 'snemmy' came from #model_design. Whatever server the channel was on at the time had a limit to the number of characters for a nick. He tried a couple of variations, SocialNem, SNemesis, etc.. but everyone called him 'snemmy' so it stuck. He is less of a nemesis now and definately more of a snemmy.
