A quick guide to wiki editing:

1. Go to the WikiSandBox.

1. Click the green '''Edit''' button at upper left.

1. Start typing something. I wrote ~+The cake is a lie+~ :)) In the sandbox it doesn't really matter what you add, it's just for learning how to edit.

1. Click the gray '''Preview''' button.

  * It should show a preview of the editing you did.

  * If you scroll the page up, you'll see the editing window again, where you can keep making changes and hitting Preview until you're happy.

  * Preview also saves a backup of your edits, so you won't lose any work, see [[HelpOnEditing#Automatic_Backup_of_Drafts]].

  * To get help, click on the green links at the bottom: HelpOnEditing or HelpOnMoinWikiSyntax. I like to right-click the links and make them open in a new tab, so I don't lose my most-recent edits.

1. When your edit looks the way you want, add a comment to the black '''Comment''' field. This is just a simple summary of what change you made to the page, which shows up on the RecentChanges page. Then click the gray '''Save Changes''' button.

1. Remember... this is a community resource, so your edits can and will be edited by other members. Be polite!
